Coventry City of Culture

We are working with the other four Coventry Rotary Club to support Coventry City of Culture.

Rotary and the City of Culture

Rotary is one of the world’s largest and most successful membership and humanitarian organizations with 1.2 million members in 35,000 clubs in 200 countries. Coventry has 3 clubs - Coventry, Coventry Jubilee, and Coventry Phoenix.

Rotary members hail from all walks of life and as our diversity grows we are united in our desire to help those less fortunate. We are People of Action ready to create opportunities and support those who need it most and transform their lives.

The Coventry Rotary clubs have donated £10,000 towards a City of Culture Youth Project which through the media of music, dance, rap, and the spoken word will allow vulnerable youngsters to express their need and desire for safety and an improvement of their lives.

Rotary also acts as a facilitator for businesses who want their employees to be involved with social responsibility projects.

Coventry Businesses may also be interested in corporate membership of Rotary and the networking possibilities it opens up.

Rotary has been making a difference to our communities for over 110 years and is delighted to see the response by the public for volunteers to help the NHS in the current crisis. If you would like to become involved in projects to help people locally and globally and enjoy a great social life at the same time why not join us?
