Dictionaries 4 Life

Once again the two Felixstowe Rotary Clubs are distributing around 350 Illustrated dictionaries to junior schools in the Felixstowe Area

Dictionaries ready for distribution

Each year our Club supports the Rotary Club of Felixstowe Landguard in distributing around 350 Illustrated dictionaries to junior schools in the Felixstowe Area: Causton, Colneis, Grange, Langer, Trimley St Mary and Trimley St Martin.

Normally, the personalised dictionaries are handed to each Year 4 student at a school assembly by Rotarians from the two clubs.  However, this year, because of the pandemic, the dictionaries will be labelled and then delivered to the schools for distribution by the teachers.

Here we see Jim Peek, President of the Rotary Club of Felixstowe Landguard, and Dougie Pipe, President of the Rotary Club of Felixstowe, preparing the dictionaries for distribution.
