The Rotary Club of Newark Castle has made a generous donation of toys and gifts to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Appeal.

The Salvation Army Minister Matt Elsey (centre of the picture ) is receiving presents in Santa Sacks from President Jim Costello (right) and Community Service member Derek Rossin.

Fundraising for both Rotary and the Salvation Army has been almost impossible during 2020 and with Christmas fast approaching members of the Rotary club hope to spread a little Christmas cheer with the toys which will be distributed by the Salvation Army to local families who have been effected by the pandemic.
