Rotary Christmas Collection

The Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford have for many years distributed Christmas food parcels to families in need and the elderly in Bishop’s Stortford.  You will have seen us collecting with Santa at local supermarkets and in the town and many of you will have received our parcels over the years.  Last year the people of Bishop’s Stortford were extremely generous donating over £10,000 which allowed us to distribute parcels to nearly 400 families in need.

This year with COVID restrictions our ability to collect will be limited but the need for our parcels will be all the more acute as the fallout from the disease and lockdown continues to take it’s toll.  We would therefore welcome any donations you are willing and able to make to ensure that we can continue to support our local community this Christmas and next.

This year has had a devastating effect on so many families and we aim to continue helping wherever we can.
