Our Weekly Meetings/ The Bishop of Penrith

The speaker at Kendal Rotary Club on 14th December was the Rt. Reverend Emma Ineson, Bishop of Penrith. She only took on the position one year ago and to say the least, it has been a challenging time. Originally the principal of Trinity Theological College in Bristol she now lives in Kendal and she updated us on how the Church is coping with all the lockdown restrictions.
She. like us, has been using Zoom to have meetings, videoing sermons and messages and keeping in contact with her colleagues. She is currently working on a ‘Future Vision for Cumbria’ and how to get things back to normal once the pandemic finishes.
