Litter picking in the lanes around Worcester

On one of his daily walks, one of our members, Charles Robinson, was so disgusted at the amount of litter in the hedges and at the road side that instead of simply moaning he decided to do something about it!

So, enlisting the help of another "willing" volunteer they set about collecting the rubbish and in the space of about an hour filled two large bags with an assortment of bottles, cans, crisp packets and other less savoury items.

If you know of a stretch of quiet road with a litter problem let us know and we will see what we can do about it.
