Community Services/ Covid Vaccination Support
Rotary Club Volunteers help out at Sidley Surgery.

Our Club is supporting the Bexhill Vaccination Programme.
Bexhill Rotary Club has been active again providing volunteers to help with the vaccination programme at the Sidley Medical Centre in Turkey Road. Volunteers help direct local residents as they arrive outside whether for vaccinations, doctors’ appointments or the pharmacy, and again inside through the one way system maintaining social distancing.
Rotarian Graham Forster Community Service Chair said ‘people arriving for vaccination are often unfamiliar with the Sidley Surgery and sometimes understandably anxious, many also having been housebound for a long time. Our job is to help make their experience a relaxing and pleasant one. Appreciation expressed as they leave delighted to have been vaccinated for the help given by us and other volunteers is certainly reward itself for helping out’.
Sue Venables PCN Care Coordinator for Bexhill thanked Bexhill Rotary Club for their support.
