The club has always maintained a close link with the port and the logistics industry so we are particularly pleased to see our President, Dougie Pipe, interviewed on Porttalk.

 Dougie explains how we’ve kept going through the pandemic, continued to support local and international causes, and hope to resume our fundraising events over the next twelve months.

Our 94th Charter Night Celebration was held over Zoom on Thursday 29 April. As speakers, we had three Ipswich Town players of the 1970s and 80s: Brian Hamilton, Russell Osman and Terry Butcher. It was a great evening.

Looking to the future in these difficult times, this has been a highly successful year for our Youth Development project. Most recently, just in time on 4 March, we were able to run another tournament in conjunction with Ipswich Town Academy.

Although our activities are severely curtailed and we are longing to get back to some sort of normal, the life of the club continues online. Here we see the handover to our new President Dougie Pipe and (below) the induction of new member Jed Payce.
