Another string to our bow.

Our first project - Litter Picking in Horton Grange Park

Our first project - litter picking at Horton Bank Country Park.

Our e-group complements our "Sidekicks" group, who meet once a month in the evenings, and our lunchtime group who meet each Thursday lunchtime.  The e-group is be project based and mainly meet electronically.
There are initially seven members but we are hoping to grow this. We have also gained two new members to our lunchtime group.

You can find out here how membership can be tailored to suit your needs and requirements or how you can join our pool of occasional volunteers with no membership commitment.

Trish says:

"The E- group currently has seven members who got together in December 2020 to help support the Christmas shoebox appeal made by Bradford West Rotary following the difficulties of schools helping during the covid pandemic
The successful completion of filling 268 boxes gave us a euphoric feeling and led us to chat about approaching Rotary to create a group ‘with a difference ‘ which could volunteer under the umbrella and experience of the main group without having the constraints of lunchtime meetings and formality.
Primarily we all work full time and have responsibilities for school age children which wouldn’t fit in with a lunchtime club or even indeed a regular set meeting calendar . We meet regularly online and at volunteer projects in line with government guidelines and our children are included.
We are going to be a project led club with specific sub categories and leaders , so no single person is in charge but rather that we are all responsible equally to our main club and one another.
We will look to the main club to support us and share their knowledge of their collective service to Rotary and help us serve the community to the best of our abilities always remembering ‘service above self’
