We had a successful Open Garden event at the weekend which raised over a £1000 for the National Garden Scheme Charities, Rotary End Polio and the local Scouts who helped. With 150+ visitors over the Saturday and Sunday afternoons large amounts of home made cakes were eaten and cups of tea served. The weather was kind, for most of the time and a good time was had by all. In the garden the stars of the show were the heavily scented lilies, trailing begonias and an assortment of hydrangeas. A big thank you to all who helped and to all the visitors.
