If you are interested in joining Rotary or our club the easiest way to do this is to make contact with our President Malcolm Sumner or come along to one of our meetings. He will have a chat with you and explain the benefits of Rotary and invite you to one of our social evenings. You can come along and meet our members, who will give you a very warm welcome. You will be able to join in straight away with our activities and you will made to feel at home in our 'family'.
If you realise that Rotary could be for you why not come along to any of our Meetings where you can enjoy yourself or see the topics that we are aiming to tackle in our many community projects. We are looking at projects across all local communities, as well as in Aberaeron, working with other groups and partnerships.
If you wish to become a member, after attending three meetings/events, you are able to complete a proposal form to apply for membership. Following a seven day wait you can become an official member of the Rotary Club of Aberaeron.
Associate Membership costs £5.00 per month. Associate Members will be encouraged to become a full member. The payments made by an Associate Member can be used to pay, or offset, the cost of their first full year’s full membership.
Honorary Members are elected at the discretion of the club members.
If you are unable to commit yourself to becoming a Rotary member why not become a 'Rotary Friend'. As a 'Friend', if you wish to attend Rotary events or meetings and lend a hand on a street collection or work project, you will be covered by the Rotary Insurance.
We very much look forward to meeting you.
back We are always looking for committed, passionate people who want to help those less fortunate and want to make a difference.
