Our
president Martin McLeavy and rotarians Dave Salt and Alan Pears were
pleased to attend the official opening by Simon Fell MP of the new RENAL
UNIT in South Ulverston.
The state of the art building (on the site of the old Sandside School) enables renal patients to have their treatment locally instead of travelling to Kendal or Preston.
The Rotary Club of Furness was pleased to make a financial contribution to help fund this new service.
