Remembering the fallen

"We shall remember"

Medway Sunlight Members were only too pleased to again help with the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.  Boxes and collecting tins were made up, distributed to shops and businesss around Chatham Maritime and collected in again after Remembrance Day.

I additon we manned the poppy stall at Dockside Outlet Centre for the two weekends leading up to Remembrance Day and on the day itself joined with the other Rotary Clubs in Medway and other organisations throughout the towns to lay a wreath at the Memorial in front of Rochester Cathedral.

Thank you to all those who supported the Appeal.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them."
