For a variety of reasons there was a record low attendance of eight members at the club's first meeting of 2022. President Derek Hall welcomed Reay Mackay, Donald Fullarton, Lesley Kennedy, Gordon Burgess, Adam Muggoch, Ron Dunachie and Graham Smith.
Derek reported that he had arranged with the chef to have a Burns Lunch on Tuesday January 25, when there would be a free raffle for a bottle of Robert Burns Whisky. He also said that he had received an email of thanks from RI president Shekhar Mehta for sponsoring a new member, Michael Dawson.
The winner of the weekly raffle for a whisky miniature, currently Deanston, was Adam Muggoch.
