Unveiling of a new Orientation Plaque at Galley Hill by the Mayor of Bexhill

New Orientation Plate for Bexhill
A new Orientation Plaque donated to the town by the Rotary Club of Bexhill was unveiled by the Mayor of Bexhill, Councillor Patrick Rene Douart, on Saturday 21st March along with the Mayoress, President Richard Harrison and a large representation from the Rotary Club. In unveiling the plaque the Mayor praised the Rotary Club for their gifts to the town and drew attention to the existing Wishing Well and Sundial on the promenade which are already focal points for locals and tourists alike. He said that these provide considerable interest and entertainment and it is hoped this welcome addition to our sea side town will similarly provide many years of enjoyment. Bexhill Rotary President Richard Harrison said that the club was delighted to be able to make this presentation to the town which was funded by the club's members, not charitable donations. He also thanked the committee that had designed, produced and installed the plaque.
