Fundraising

To organise your fundraising, choose one of the following alternatives:

1. Follow this link to create a fundraising page on Just Giving that is linked to the event’s main fundraising page.  Click on the orange “Start fundraising” button and follow the instructions.  Having created the page, you can circulate the link to it to potential donors by email and social media.  All the donations will be collected by Rotary Nailsea & Backwell and will be distributed after the event with a top-up from the “central pot” – see below.

2. If you prefer to control your fundraising using a paper method, collecting the money yourself, you can produce your own sponsorship form or use a standard one – download here.

Charities may wish to set up their own independent fundraising page on Just Giving or another fundraising site.  If you do, please let the organisers have the link to the page so that the fundraising can be monitored.

The event accumulates a “central pot”, mainly from bucket collections before the event and from sponsors, after costs have been deducted.  All the charities taking part benefit from this in proportion to their number of participants.
