Rotary Environmental Sustainability in action.

Spring Park Wood in West Wickham, owned by the City of London Corporation, contains ancient hazel coppice areas.

Rotary members and friends from three local clubs, Langley Park, Beckenham and West Wickham, teamed up to plant 60 hazel whips, for coppicing. The area had already been cleared for planting and additonal help was provided by a City of London Ranger.

Next scheduled is West Wickham Common, for about 40 hazel whips.
