Local Community Heroes recognised by Ellesmere Port Rotary Club
The Rotary Club heard about some outstanding acts of kindness and support to others by citizens of our town during the Corona virus pandemic, very much in line with the Rotary motto “Service above Self”.
The Club wished to honour these outstanding Ellesmere Port citizens and our President Steve Morris recently presented each of them with the Rotary Community Service Recognition Award.
The Award winners were Boy Scout William Chesters, Reverend Jackie Bellfield, Heather Duggan, Barbara Flynn-Southern, Nina Hallmark, Sue Kinsella, Bill Leslie, Rita Lewis, Debbie McCauley, Nigel Mountford (posthumous), Felicity Pochin, Katie Roberts, Maureen Wilson.
Ellesmere Port should be proud of these wonderful people from our community.

Evaline came to see Father Christmas at the Burleydam Grotto on Christmas Eve. EPRC could announce that the money for her operation has been raised! A fitting end to a great project!
