Our support for Ukraine tops £32,000
We raised funds supporting Ukrainians both in Ukraine and in Cambridge & East Anglia from several events in 2022
Since the start of the war in February 2022 we have raised funds and contributed to the following charities (click blue text for details):
Rotary District 1080 (East Anglia) Ukraine Fund - £3,500
SOS Childrens Villages UK - £4,400
Red Cross - £1,500
Shelterbox Ukraine Appeal - £3,500
Cambridge Refugee Resettlement Campaign - £3,000
Rotary Club of Kharkiv International - £16,600 for two second-hand ambulances filled with medical supplies
And Rotary Clubs in Gt Britain and Ireland have raised more than £6,000,000 and given over 100,000 volunteer hours to Ukrainian causes
