Our speakers on 3 October were Mary Biddle and Ali Greenhalgh from Cumbris CVS (Council for Voluntary Service). They described an initiative to provide help, advice and training to small community groups and charities in South Cumbria.  Called the Community Connectors Project, they are initially exploring what is needed and how they can react and support.  They promised to return in twelve ,months to report on progress.
