Unfortunately cancelled due to icy conditions
A message from St. Mary's Hospice - Saturday 11th December.
Unfortunately, after carefully assessing the conditions at Barrow Park following the recent snow fall and ice, ourselves and the Rotary Club of Furness have made the difficult decision to cancel today's Barrow Santa Dash.
We have a duty of care to the participants, our volunteers and everyone involved and we believe it wouldn't be safe due to the icy conditions. We must put health and safety first. Any updates on going forward will follow shortly.
