Burns Night

Thirty six members and guests enjoyed a shortened version of Burn's Night with the haggis being piped in by a recording on a smartphone. Barbara Pringle made a spirited address to the haggis watched by MC Professor Andrew Hamnett, retired Vice Chancellor of Strathclyde University, wearing his Malawi Caledonian tartan and in the presence of Morpeth Golf Club Chef Will Purves.
