Perhaps due to half-term or other unknown factors, the attendance was only 22. This included 2 guests of President Nigel – Tara Huddless and her partner Alex; Tara had a successful stall at December’s Christmas Market and was curious to know more about Rotary.
Neil had booked Roger and introduced him – a member of the Royal Photographic Society since 1984, Roger caused a stir in 1990 by being awarded 3 RPS Fellowships in one year and gained a 4th in 1998. He has won many National & International competitions. His main interest is Natural History but is also accomplished in Landscapes, Portraits, Sport and Photo-Journalism.

His talk covered about six main areas, including Rannoch Moor, Lake District, Devon, Cornwall and Snowdonia. We were treated to some beautiful photographs and encouraged to holiday in the UK and off season with plenty of tips where to park & walk to reach many of his pictures.

Alan Pudney gave the Vote of Thanks. Judging by the questions, most of us really enjoyed being transported to these corners of the British Isles. The speaker enjoyed our company and has offered to come again if we want another talk.
