Polio Big Meal

A social fund raising event

Carnforth Rotarians, family and friends celebrated Rotary's Big Meal on 23rd Feb at Carnforth Cricket Club. This was to raise funds for Rotary End Polio Now Campaign, to assist in eradicating polio worldwide.

They enjoyed a wonderful evening, of entertainment with a wide range of music played by an extremely talented young lady, Kara, on her saxophone.

They took part in a General Knowledge Quiz, which was good fun and generated a few discussions, the winners receiving a bundle of chocolate bars to share.

The Brief Encounter Team did a fantastic Big Meal, which really was big and extremely tasty.

The evening was rounded off with the drawing of the raffle where a wide range of superb prizes were up for grabs.

A big thank you to everyone who helped to make this such a successful event.
