Club narrowly loses out on the trophy
Our five-man put up a valiant battle in the final of the District Tenpin Bowling Competition.
Each year Rotary teams from Cumbria and Lancashire fight it out - in a friendly way of course - to come away with the trophy.
Our club took on trophy holders Carnforth in the final at Morecambe. It was a very close encounter with a great deal of fellowship between the two clubs, but Carnforth kept the trophy they won last year. Well done lads!
For us there's always next year, and other sporting competitions to look forward to.
