As in previous years, the evening will feature varied material with many well-loved and popular melodies from classical to pop including music from television, stage and screen, humorous songs, serious songs, bizarre songs, combinations of different words/music and – of course – some Gilbert & Sullivan. The choir will be conducted by Musical Director Sue Wightman. All the songs will be performed by their soloists and ensembles, as well as the full chorus.
All funds raised from this performance will be for Felixstowe Rotary Club’s support of the Worldwide Polio Eradication programme which is matched 2:1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, thus tripling the amount raised. Tickets at £12 are available in advance from Russell Smith in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe or from Mark Davis on 07967 047924 and of course on the door. Refreshments will be available during the interval. We look forward to seeing you there.
