Garden Story 10

Story of 7 Earlspark Way, Bieldside

I inherited my love of gardening from my father who was a very keen gardener. However he had a large square garden and always had a plan. Not for him the impulse purchase!

My garden is an odd shape, folded round my house and has evolved somewhat haphazardly but enthusiastically over the years.

My father liked evergreens and alpines. I like plants that have their season and move on. I obtain huge pleasure from the first snowdrops and regularly walk round the garden to see what is appearing. I have a range of shrubs and perennials which move through their season of interest. I also like colour and each year treat myself to selections of tulips and dahlias to give a splash. I grow herbs, fruit and vegetables integrated into the general layout.

I like sharing my plants with family and friends and I hope if you visit my patch to have some plants for sale.
