YOUNG CHEF-DISTRICT FINAL

Wed, Jun 28th 2023 at 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm

The District final of this year's competition was held at Hope Academy

This year Newton Rotary sponsored the district final of Rotary’s Young Chef competition. Thanks go to the staff at Hope Academy for allowing the event to be held in the school., once again.

This year's winner was Ayesha Verani from Sharples School, Bolton.
The runner up in second place was Adi Yusuf from Radcliffe School, Chadderton.
In third space was Ameena Mohamed from Bolton School.

A special mention goes to Maja Andrejek, from Hope Academy who was thought to be on holiday, but arrived only minutes before the start, having just arrived home and raced to compete. She even had her three friends to support her right through to the presentation. For a year 7 Young Chef her debut was indeed quite an achievement.
