July 1st is the first day of the new Rotary year and time to change Presidents.
July 1st is the first day of the new Rotary year and time to change Presidents. We are a little different this year. The role is being shared by three of our members - Bernie Cotton, Hugo Richardson and Richard Hartley. They will all share the whole year, but each one will be designated as “lead” for four months at a time. Bernie will start the year, and, at our meeting on 3rd July, Jane presented him with his chain of office. Bernie presented Hugo with an associate ribbon while he waits for his turn to wear the real thing. Richard Hartley was away on holiday and will receive his on his return. It’s different! But, with the very active year our Club always has, they will all be kept busy!
