Rotary Charity Golf Day

On Thursday 11th May we held our Annual Golf Day, at Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club.  In spite of threatened rain, the sun shone on our golfers throughout.  When play was completed, all returned to the clubhouse, where they were joined by additional guests for dinner.  The evening included a raffle, heads and tails and a charity auction, led by our auctioneer member, Hugo Richardson.  The whole event raised over £7,000 for charity and everyone had a thoroughly good time in the process.  Thanks to all whose support, whether on the course or behind the scenes, contributed to the event’s success.  

First prize - Harrods Aviation Ltd, closely followed by runners up - the Hockey Veterans team. Nearest the pin - Sean Mangan from Attwaters. Longest Drive - Jase Bean from Lever & Co.
