On Monday 10th July 2023 Sarah Cowlam came to a regular club meeting to inform members about the activities of Physionet. She gave a thorough insite into their activities and demand for their services, involving 'recyling' unwanted medical equipment especially to several countries abroad, including FiJi and Ukraine as well as in Africa, where they are desperately needed.
Much of the equipment comes from the NHS when they no longer have use for it.
A number of members have been assisting at the Berkeley site over tha past few months and it is hoped that we can do more in the future.
Sarah was presented with a £500 cheque by Past President John Francksen and Richard Moran (as last year's International Chair and this year's President.)
