Business of The Month June 2023

Our business of the month award for June 2023 has been presented to Su-Bridge Pet Supplies of Saham Toney. 

The company grew out of a Boarding kennels business owned by Brian and Sheila Manning in the mid 1970's. Pet owners using the kennels were gifted a complimentary bag of Supa Select dog food when they collected their pets. Many owners contacted them afterwards for more of this food as their dogs liked it. As it's popularity grew they started to supply directly to pet owners and the trade locally.

Over the years the business grew, until they were supplying the East Anglia region with established pet, small animal and bird foods. In the 1990's their son Ian joined the Company full time, and Su-Bridge opened an on-site retail shop with increased warehousing and a pre-pack production unit.

They now have an experienced Field Sales team working with pet shop owners to present not only leading brands, but also their own brand, Lovejoy's.

The Company now offers over 15,000 lines from their 115,000 sq. ft premises, and distribute to East Anglia, the Midlands, South East and North West of the UK via their fleet of 18+ lorries and vans.

Since their humble beginnings Su-Bridge now employ over 100 local people. They are very worthy winners of our Business of the Month Award.
