Welcome to Ole Krebs

As the second new member in two weeks, we were particularly pleased to welcome Ole Krebs to the Rotary Club of Felixstowe at our meeting on 14 September.

Ole Krebs, sponsored by Rotarian Jed Payce, is originally from Randers in Denmark and came to work in England for just six months. And that was back in the 1970s! Ole worked for Stena Portlink at Felixstowe dealing with vessels to and from Denmark and Sweden. Then for MCP to work on the IT systems used by forwarding agents to customs clear cargoes, originally at Felixstowe and then at many ports around the globe.

After his recent retirement Ole wanted to devote some of his spare time to helping others and saw that he would have the best opportunity for this by joining us at Rotary.
