Town Centre Defibrillator

The Rotary Club of Warrington, in collaboration with the support of Warrington Mayor, Councillor Steve Wright, has repurposed a telephone box in the centre of the town for a truly life-saving purpose! 

This incredible project aims to ensure the safety and well-being of our community, providing immediate assistance in case of cardiac emergencies. It's a true testament to our shared commitment to making Warrington a safer place for everyone.  

We are honoured to have the  Mayor of Warrington Councillor Steve Wright officially open this defibrillator station, highlighting the importance of this life-saving resource within our community. 

Thank you to Community Heartbeat, a leading charity dedicated to providing defibrillators and life-saving training across the UK.  Their expertise and support have been invaluable in bringing this project to life, and together with Community Heartbeat, we are making a significant difference in the community.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, it's important to recognize the connection of this project to the talented local band Viola Beach and their legacy. We honor their memory by creating a safer environment for everyone, day and night.
