World Polio day 24th October 2023
On 24th October 2023 night the Nibley Monument was bathed in purple light to mark World Polio Day.
Rotary clubs around the world are united in their efforts to rid the world of this terrible disease, affectging some of the porrest communities in the world. With support from donors, including the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, Rotary and prtners immunise over 400 million children every year from polio.
