A excited atmosphere of anticipation permeated the room at the Cooden Beach Tennis Club which was crowded with Rotarians and their friends for the annual Quiz Night.
What would the questions be? Would we manage to answer any of them?
This year the quiz had been set by Rotarian Patrick Donaldson and his wife, Amanda. The questions varied in difficulty so that everyone scored some and topics ranged from sport and celebrity to history and geography and literature. There was a welcome meal from the local Little Common fish and chip shop at half time and a grand raffle. About £500 profit was raised for Rotary charities and a good evening was enjoyed by everyone.
The winning team "The Efficient Six" included the club President James Slinn, well done eveyone who took part.
