Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid

For almost 50 years, Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid (BCWA) has been working to end domestic abuse in the community. Their high-quality refuges provide a warm and safe environment for up to 82 women and 54 children (at any given time) who are fleeing domestic abuse.

Many women and children arrive at refuge with little or no belongings and when the time comes for them to leave emergency accommodation, they are often moved on to unfurnished housing. BCWA strive to assist survivors of domestic abuse in creating a homely environment and the money raised through this event will help to provide Resettlement Packs of essential household items, such as cleaning products, bedding and kitchen equipment.
