Guide Dogs for the Blind Association

The Rotary Club of Bridport spent a wonderfully entertaining and uplifting evening in the company of Pringle and Bella!
If you haven’t already guessed these are two guide dogs for the visually impaired. Pringle is working with Geoff Hunt a resident of Bridport who has been with him for several years. Bella is currently under training and will be with her new owner shortly.
Geoff gave a fabulous talk describing the journey that the dogs go through from  breeding, training, selection and finally to life with their new owners. Geoff finished the talk with an account of his own personal journey from losing his sight to living with Pringle.
A very inspiring talk showing what a difference a guide dog can make to the lives of the visually impaired.
