Tea and Cake at the Salt House, West Bay

Working with ASCape

On a very pleasant and enjoyable Sunday afternoon in June, our Club and ASCape worked together to raise almost £400 from the Tea and Cake event in the Salt House at West Bay. ASCape is a Bridport-based charity supporting Autistic and socially anxious children, young people, young adults and their families in West Dorset. Home - ASCape

Most of the delicious cakes were provided by ASCape. Beckie Webb, their Assistant Director, said ' Thank you so much to all the Rotary members that came out to support us on Sunday and who provided cakes too!'

President Mike said 'It was a very enjoyable event and a pleasure working together. Everyone who took part deserves to take much credit for a job well done!’.

He added 'I am pleased to advise that we took just short of £400. We discussed this at our meeting last night and unanimously decided to round up the amount and donate £500 to ASCape funds'.

Beckie responded, 'That is wonderful news! Thank you so much, please do pass on our deepest gratitude to all the Rotary members.'
