Quiz Nights
An annual event in th club calendar is a quiz night which doubles up as both a social and a fundraiser.
The 2011 quiz saw the BBC's Amy Cole act as our question master.
Despite a few teams dropping out in the days leading up to the event, the quiz night on the 9th April was a great success with a fun evening for everyone - even if the winning team did "bend the rules" and had 2 extra players in their team.
Our own Adrian Roberts and his team held up the fine club tradition of not quite coming first - winning the wooden spoon.
Our club must also thank Amy Cole from the BBC who did a stirling job as our question master on the night as well as the Colebrook Chippy who provided the Fish n'Chips suppers for everyone.
Past Quiz Nights have seen some of Amy's fellow BBC colleagues compare the night. These include Aysha Iqbal, Michael Chequer and Jenny Walrond.
