On an annual basis the Club run a Big Breakfast in the marquee at Stanton Drew on the day after the village Flower Show. This has proved a very popular event with both villagers and visitors where we have served up to 120 breakfasts during the morning. The breakfast is great value including fruit juices, fresh fruit, cereal and full English all for £8 a head. All the breakfasts are cooked fresh in the marquee by our catering team. We also run a raffle for valuable hampers and this together with the profit from the breakfasts enables the Club to raise significant funds for Rotary charities.This year’s Big Breakfast is on Sunday 16th July with breakfast served from 8.30am through till 1pm. It has now become traditional for a local classic car club to start their rally after enjoying our Big Breakfast and this year we have some 70 drivers coming. It provides a great setting for the event with the classic cars lined up in the parking area adjoining the marquee.
