Rotary Young Writer Competition

Write a short story


  • Junior (7-10), Intermediate (11-13) and Senior age groups (14-17)
  • Single genre:- A story/prose – single side of A4 paper
  • Based on the theme for this year "My Inspiration" . 
  • Title published on this site
  • Judged on imagination relative to the subject, ability to engage interest, and ability to be consistent in the power of argument.
All entries must go through their sponsoring Rotary Club. Club competition winners from each age group and category for the District competition to be received by District Organiser by 1st March
Winners go to Rotary GB&I Final by start of May
