Exciting Vocational Opportunity for Teachers !!

The application form can be found here!

Rotary International is giving the opportunity for ThreeTeachers who are either active or interested in Special education needs the chance to visit Queensland Australia in Summer 2019. The Vocational training team will be lead by an Experienced Rotarian who will be responsible for the training of the team on the lead up to the event. It is estimated that the dates will coincide with the end of the school year and will be negotiated with successful applicants.

It is a wonderful opportunity for a person within the education profession to further their understanding of this area and to exchange ideas and best practices. There will also be an opportunity to explore the local culture and an itinerary will be prepared by local Rotarians and those within the education profession. All flights and transport will be provided and you will be hosted by Rotarian families with some hotels also. You will need to provide your own insurance and some incidental expenses and spending money.

This is an incredible opportunity and is part of Rotary International’s desire to promote International understanding.

The trip is expected to start in the Outback area Longreach Queensland and you will be transported overland to the coastal area of Rockhampton and Gladstone. After this you will travel south along the coast to Hervey Bay with an opportunity to visit Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef. (additional travel in Australia is permitted but will be at your own cost)

If selected, you will be required to attend some team meetings to prepare for the trip and as an organisation we ask that you make yourself available for 12 months after your return to give presentations to Rotary if required.

If you are interested then please complete the attached application form and send it along with a resume to steve.martin30@btopenworld.com .

The deadline for applications is 31st December and a selection day for applicants will be held at the end of January.

This could be a life changing experience so do not miss out !!!!
