Welsh Young Writer
A District-only competition, new for 2020/21
A new competition for 2020/21, it is DISTRICT 1180 ONLY - there is NO link with Young Writer.
It is designed to allow young people to enter a competition using Welsh.
Note, however, that it is most unlikely that a competition will be run in 2021/22 due to the very practical difficulties of Rotary engagement with schools whilst the COVID situation persists. Schools have so many pressing matters to deal with, so Rotarians are requested to refrain from being too proactive for the time being. Additionally, the Rotarian who was to have run this (Barbara Bolton) has moved away, so if it is to be resurrected, a new volunteer is needed!
