Charity Golf Day

Teams of Four

Following our successful 2023 competition, where Rotary raised over £3,300 to support local charities, we are once again hosting this popular Charity Golf Day.

This year, we aim to support Blackwell Sailing for disabled adults and young people, as well as Charitable Youth Projects arranged and supported by Kendal Rotary. Your participation in this event will significantly contribute to these important charitable causes. We are grateful for your previous support and hope that you will consider joining us once again. We encourage you to gather a team and register your entry, whether it be a personal initiative or corporate entertainment.

If you have supported this event in the past, we remain grateful, trusting and hoping you will feel able to continue.  If you haven’t supported this event in the past, please give it serious consideration as its great fun for worthy causes.

This sets out the arrangements for the 2024 event and to give you time to consider getting a team together and making an entry, whether this be at a personal or corporate level. If you have any questions, at this stage, let us know and we will do our best to provide you with answers as soon as we can.

Please support us if you possibly can. The normal format of a Stapleford Competition applies being teams of four, two players scoring on each hole. (A maximum handicap of 24 will apply.)

The cost of team entry will be £140 which we think represents excellent value to play one of the top courses in Lancashire & Cumbria with a prize fund of over £1500.

In order to maximise our charitable endeavours and to publicise the business which you are associated with, please consider sponsoring a hole at a cost of £60 – bringing your combined support for this event to £200.
