Sat 23rd September 2017 - Rotary sponsorship at Sutton Coldfield Town Football Club

Thanks to a Rotary benefactor we are able to sponsor today’s match v Buxton and Club members are invited to come and watch. There will be a bucket collection at half time for the President's charity, the George Coller Memorial Fund.

Fri 22nd September 2017 ShelterBox collection

Following the devastation from Hurricane Irma the Club has arranged a special collection to raise funds for ShelterBox, the charity that is providing emergency shelter and tools for families affected by the disaster. www.shelterbox.org

Tue 19th September 2017 - Working with Friends of Malawi

The Club has donated 20 LuminAID lights for use in the schools supported by the Friends of Malawi. Carol Evans from the charity came along to our meeting and we tested out just how bright the light is!

Thank you to everyone who came along to our event when £1300 was raised. It was great to have the Black Country duo Dandy join us again. Special thanks go to our Inner Wheel colleagues for all their help and support.

Fri 15th September 2017 - Visit to RAF Cosford Open Cockpits Evening

A wide range of aircraft will be available for close viewing including transport aircraft, jet fighters and unique research airframes.

A special Anniversary Ball celebrating 100 years, at Moor Hall Hotel with guest speaker Afghan veteran Clive Smith. A lovely evening.

Tue 22nd August 2017 Paul Evans and Steve Davies; The 5/60th Rifles Living History Group

Paul Evans was accompanied by Steve Davies, an expert on period tailoring who covered the uniform production aspect of the hobby. They brought with them the usual exhibits including some inert guns.

Tue 15th August 2017 - Bear Hunt

What a fun evening 25 of us had ambling around the centre of Sutton Coldfield finding a few Big Sleuth bears and other items of local interest along the way. It was great to be joined by our Inner Wheel colleagues and family members.

Mon 14th August 2017 - Mon 21st August 2017 Mablethorpe Children's Holidays

This scheme provides holidays for young people who would otherwise never enjoy a holiday break to help them re-charge their energies and enjoy a change of scenery. The Club is working with Homestart in Erdington.

Sat 29th July 2017 - George Coller collection, ASDA Minworth

A fine start for our President's charity, George Coller Memorial Fund, for children with asthma. £175 was raised, which will buy for a couple of inhaler analyzers to measure how effectively young children are using their inhalers. www.georgecoller.co.uk

Tue 25th July 2017 Summer BBQ

A great evening BBQ with families and friends followed by frog racing. The evening raised enough to buy 20 solar lights for Friends of Malawi's work.

Greenacres was very busy for this afternoon's summer fayre. Our Inner Wheel colleagues served delicious cakes, tea and coffee. It was good to catch up again with Graham Hendley, a very talented local mouth artist.
