Two or three times a month, we invite a vast variety of speakers to the club to talk on different subjects of interest.

If you fancy a Sunday morning stroll, then meet up at a Ruislip Lido for a gentle walk around water's edge, followed by refreshments afterwards.

Wed 9th October 2019 Speaker meeting - Stuart Kasozi, Rotary Club of Entebbe, Uganda.

Stuart is currently studying at Brunel University and is a member of the Rotary Club of Entebbe in Uganda. He has become a regular visitor to our club and will be talking about life as a Rotarian in Africa.

Tue 8th October 2019 Darts practice

Second Tuesday of the month, the club's darts players gather at Ruislip Conservative Club in Ickenham Road, Ruislip, for a couple of hours of arrow throwing and gossip.

Every Sunday morning, club members head out for a picturesque walk, and a cuppa to follow. It's a pleasant social on a Sunday morning, meeting at the Aquadrome in Frogmoor Lane.

A special evening of fellowship, when we welcome members of the Interact Club which we sponsor at Northwood School, along with their families, to our meeting.

The hospital radio station, Radio Mount Vernon, is 50 years old and Andy Stroud talks about the history of the station at Mount Vernon Hospital and the work it does for patients there.

Pahar Trust Nepal is a charity primarily focused in the mid-western foothills and the far-east of Nepal. Their aim is to build safe, durable schools providing students with an encouraging environment to learn. Dick Crowther is chairman of the Trust.

Wed 24th July 2019 Club committees & District Governor visit

District Governor, Frank Quinn, who looks after the Thames Valley Rotary District (1090) will be visiting to share his vision of "Rotary Connects the World". It will also be our committees evening - a chance to hatch plans for the future.

Tue 23rd July 2019 Charity Golf Day

This is the Rotary club's big fund-raiser. This year, 20 teams will be lining up at Batchworth Park Golf Club near Rickmansworth, with proceeds doing to the National Autistic Society.

Sun 21st July 2019 Uxbridge Auto Show

This very successful event, which is run by the Rotary Club of Uxbridge to raise money for a number of Rotary charities, is supported by Elthorne-Hillingdon Rotary who provide volunteers for the Middlesex Showground in Park Road.

Wed 17th July 2019 Speaker meeting - Roy Wood, Map Action

MapAction is a non-governmental organisation that specialises in providing mapping for humanitarian emergencies. Roy, who is a Past President of Newbury Rotary Club, will be explaining about the work of the charity.
