"The club organises a number of fundraising events in order to fund its various charitable activities. Regular events include the Classic Vehicle Run, assisting with the Sodbury Slog, the Sodbury Christmas Sunday and a golf day.

Members of the Bitton Road Runners, the Rotary Club, and the local community all help marshal the event. In return each year over £2 per entrant is donated to local charities and the community. This is distributed by the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury.

The Club has recently formed a small group to plant small trees, whips, in conjunction with South Glos Council.

The Chipping Sodbury Town Hall was chosen to display pictures representing the closeness of Polio being eradicated throughout the world. Recently Africa was declared free of Wild Polio.

The club organises a classic car rally with a different circular route every year, a coffee stop and a grand lunch back at Chipping Sodbury.

On 11 September members of the Chipping Sodbury Rotary Club, accompanied by two members of the Chipping Sodbury Inner Wheel club and family members masquerading as “Chipping Sodbury Daredevils” abseiled down the wall of Southmead Hospital.
