Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of High Wycombe
Founded in 1926, the Club is one of the largest in District 1090, having a membership of just over 70.
Meetings are normally at lunchtime, when a two course lunch is served. The dress code has been relaxed from the traditional (i.e. jackets and ties ) to "informal business" to reflect changes in dress in the business community.
If there is a fifth Tuesday in the month then an evening meeting is arranged, not necessarily at Adams Park. Wives and Partners are explicitly invited and Members are encouraged to bring guests.
We are proud of our support to our Rotaract Club, that caters for young people who are setting out on their careers, and Rotarians take turns in attending Rotaract meetings. Similarly Rotaractors are encouraged to attend appropriate Rotary meetings and are helped with the cost. A Rotaract section has been included in this website.
In addition to the activities of the Committees we normally hold a major fund raising project every year, and an annual cycle ride called Pedal Push. You can find out more about these by selecting them from the menu on the left or from the Links page.
The Club has recently benefited from an influx of new members, who have applied their energy, skills and professional 'networking' to the Club's charitable activities. If you are interested in joining the Club you can contact our Secretary (01844 353704) or use one of the email links on these pages.
