We’re a small, friendly club of enthusiastic and active volunteers who want to enjoy ourselves and give our time and talents to help others both locally and overseas. The Rotary motto is “Service above Self”, and we are people from all walks of life who share a common interest in helping others.
Over the last 12 months we have:
Made charitable donations to 23 Charities totalling over £9,000, while at the same time donating $2,000 to Rotary International’s Stop Polio campaign.
Supported International initiatives with a twinning visit to the Rotary Club of Alba in Italy, and helping host the Group Study Exchange visit from Brazil.
Held fundraising events such as Music and Gluhwein at the Christmas Market, a President's day Trip on the Thames, and including the “Blues at Burstead” – the major music in the garden event of the year - and the "Harmony Brass" Autumn Musicfest at Emmanuel Church at end October.
If you are like us, and want to enjoy yourselves, make new friends, listen to interesting speakers, and at the same time, give something back to the community, then you can join us in making this happen. We’re looking for more men and women of all ages and backgrounds to join us and use their time, talents, professional skills and energy to improving the lives of people in their local communities and others around the world.
Join us and help to make a difference.

Ed’s Easy Diners are much loved retro-American diners that have been popular ever since the first opened in Soho, London in November 1987. Offering top quality hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches and legendary hand-made thick milkshakes, Ed’s has the iconic look and classic music of the 1950’s.
Now, with a dozen Diners around the country and more to come, over 100,000 on-line fans in ‘Ed’s Club’, and a first overseas move to Cape Town, Ed’s is still growing and remains as popular as ever.
